About the maker.
My name is Daniel Neill. I was introduced to knife making and shown the basics by Don Cowles. He taught me the best knives are made by doing the basics best. Careful grinding, thorough finishing, and through attention to detail.
Each knife I make is unique. Each knife starts as a bar of steel and is shaped by ban saw, belt grinder, and hammer. I strive for the highest quality of fit and finish with each blade I sell.
I make knives because I love knives and I love creating things. I sell knives because others love knives, but may not have the time, skill, or interest in making their own. That, and there’s only so much room in my home.
